Shelby Hundley

While her team finished fourth as a team, Pawnee City Indian sophomore, Shelby Hundley busted on the scene in a big way in the MUDECAS tournament on her home turf, winning four gold medals.

Hundley made sure people took notice on the day as she swept the 100 and 200 meter dash crowns in tight races, while then going on to sweep the hurdles competitions, too, all while accounting for 40 of her teams 90 total points in the meet.

Shelby took home the gold in the 100 meter by just six tenths of a second and then won the 200 by seven tenths of second. In the hurdles it was a little easier for the sophomore as she won the 100 meter hurdles by a half of a second and then took the 300 meter hurdles by more than two seconds.

She put herself on the map as a force to be reckoned with over the course of the track and field season, as Shelby looks to continue to make noise as a young star at Pawnee City.
