Clara Feighner

Doniphan West pitcher Clara Feighner surpassed 200 career strikeouts in last week’s series against Centralia.

D-West beat the Panthers 7-0 in the first game with Clara striking out 17 of the 24 batters she faced allowing just one hit with zero walks.

Centralia won the second game 5-2 but Clara struck out 12 in that game giving her a total of 29 for the two-game set.

She ended that night with 119 strikeouts this season and 216 for her career.

Clara transferred to D-West from Falls City, NE at the end of her freshman season.
