Dominick Schnider

Dominick Schnider of Royal Valley posted a personal best time of 16:49 last week to win the cross country event at Perry-Lecompton.

Dominick is from the Pine Ridge Reservation in South Dakota and transferred to Horton during his sophomore season and broke the school record in the mile.

He then transferred to Royal Valley and qualified for state cross country as a junior. He ran the second fastest mile in Royal Valley history to win a regional championship in track and he anchored the 4x400m relay team that qualified for state.

Dominick is now the second fastest runner in school history in the 5k after his performance last week at Perry-Lecompton.
