Oskaloosa wrestler Holly Thacher won her third straight State Championship on Saturday in Salina capping a 30-4 junior season at 115 pounds in Class 4-1A.

Thacher went a perfect 4-0 in the State Tournament with her first match winning via a pinfall and her next three by decisions.

Thacher defeated Kylee Hodges of Oakley in the Championship match by a 4-2 decision. She didn’t finish worse than second place in any tournament in the six tournaments in 2024 with three second place finishes including Regional’s at Rossville and three first place finishes including the State Title.

Thacher will have a chance for rare history going into her senior season next year with the opportunity to win four state titles during her high school career.
