The Centralia Panthers improved to 5-0 on Friday night with a key district win over Jackson Heights 48-12. Maveryk Becker had a monster game against the Cobras and has been a key piece for the #2 ranked team in Class 1A.

Maveryk against Jackson Heights had over 200 yards of total offense and four touchdowns. He had touchdown runs of 31 and seven yards while adding touchdown receptions of 34 and 33 yards.

Through five games this season, Maveryk has tallied 514 rushing yards and five touchdowns, 291 receiving yards and five touchdowns, two touchdowns on defense, and one kickoff return touchdown.
