Kurtis & Marcus Beck

It was hard to choose just one, so we decided to highlight twins Kurtis and Marcus Beck of the Nemaha Central basketball team.

Both Kurtis and Marcus have been dynamite for the Thunder as they have rolled to a 3-0 start with the duo being a big reason why.

Last week in two games against St. Marys and Centralia, both posted monster numbers in both games.

Kurtis, against St. Mary’s tallied 20 points and 14 rebounds and then on Friday at Centralia he posted 18 points and eight rebounds.

Marcus, against St. Mary’s had 18 points and 15 rebounds and posted a near double-double on Friday at Centralia with a game high 19 points and seven rebounds.

Through three games this season, Kurtis is averaging 21 points and over seven rebounds per game while Marcus is averaging 17 points and 13 rebounds per game.

The twins have accounted for over 65% of the Thunder scoring through the first three games.
