For the third-straight year the Maur Hill-Mount Academy Ravens are headed to the Class 3A playoffs accomplishing that feat last week with a 64-22 rout of Immaculata to win the 3A District two title.

Leading the charge for the big offensive outpouring in the win against Immaculata was junior, Ronald Faulk-Tindal who ran wild over the Raiders rushing for three plus football fields notching 354 yards on just 14 carries with four touchdowns and added one reception for 26 yards. Faulk-Tindal’s touchdown gallops were some big plays scoring on 12, 29, 48 and 74-yard runs, while overall averaging on the night covering one-fourth of the field every time he touched the ball (25.3 yards per touch).

On the season the Raven junior has been a key piece of the team’s success, shouldering the workload out of the backfield as he has run for 67.7% of the teams rushing yards with 1,099 yards on 91 carries (12.1 ypc) with 16 touchdowns surpassing 100 yards in now six straight games. He’s also caught 20 passes for 256 yards and four touchdowns and ranks second on the team in tackles with 53 and has a pair of 12 tackle games this season.

The Ravens sit at 6-2 on the season with only one game left in the regular season. They head to the playoffs already assuring themselves a first round home playoff game, and look to finish the regular season strong with momentum. Faulk-Tindal and his teammates look to continue to work hard to push the Ravens into the playoffs on a good flight pattern.
