The Silver Lake boys wrestling team won the first ever Big East League Championship on Thursday night at Perry-Lecompton.
The Eagles finished with 171 points while Holton was close but just a touch behind in second place finishing with 159 points.
Sabetha finished in third place with 127 points, Rossville finished in fourth place with 98 points, and Riley County finished in fifth place with 75.5 points.
Jefferson West (63), Perry-Lecompton (56), Nemaha Central (37.5), Hiawatha (27), St. Marys (25.5), and Royal Valley (17) rounded out the team scores.
Silver Lake finished with four individual champions, Holton finished with three individual champions while both Jefferson West and Riley County each finished with two individual champions.
