Week Seven KVA Volleyball rankings - click here

The regular season has wrapped up for high school volleyball and headed into the postseason seven area teams are ranked in the latest KVA rankings. 

Class 2A, 1A-Division I & Division II house all six of the area teams in the rankings. 

Valley Falls, Jefferson County North and Washington County all remained ranked in Class 2A and all each moved up at least one spot in the rankings. The Dragons wrapped up the regular season with a 33-3 and undefeated NEKL champions, after beating Maur Hill and Jackson Heights on Tuesday night. Valley Falls moved up two spots in the polls this week to fourth. Jefferson County North wrapped up the regular season with a 30-7 record after wins against Pleasant Ridge and McLouth and jumped up one spot in the rankings. Washington County Tigers moved up one spot to ninth in the polls this week after finishing the season with a 24-10 record and placing third in the Twin Valley League tournament. 

Centralia Panthers continue to remain ranked second on the season in Class 1A-DI as they have all season and the Panthers wrapped up the regular season with a 35-1 record after winning the TVL tournament title on Saturday. The Hanover Wildcats are up one spot to sixth this week in the rankings after taking second in the TVL tournament and finishing the regular season 28-9. 

In Class 1A-DII the Axtell Eagles remain ranked second in the polls this week has they have a majority of the season. The Eagles wrapped up the season with a 26-9 record and fourth place finish at the TVL tournament this past weekend. The Linn Bulldogs jumped back into the rankings in 1A-DII checking in at ninth this week with a 16-17 record on the season.

Volleyball postseason starts on Saturday with Sub-State action across the State.
