The Valley Heights girls basketball team had their season come to an end on Wednesday night in Manhattan with a 46-43 loss to Berean Academy.
The Mustangs built a 14-point lead only to let it slip away late as the Mustangs couldn't get to the Final Four after making State for the second consecutive season.
Warriors outscored the Mustangs 36-21 in the second half and was led by Lillie Veery with 13 points. Berean Academy hit seven three pointers in the second half.
Mustangs were led by Emma Yungeberg's 17 points as Valley Heights season closes at 21-3.
