(KTNC)--Two Peru State College athletes have received weekly honors from the Heart of America Athletic Conference.
Volleyball player Mallory Hull was named the conference's Libero of the Week, after averaging nearly seven digs per set during the week. She helped the Bobcats to a 3-2 record for the week, including three wins and a first place finish at the York College Tournament last weekend.
Hull had a career-high 34 digs in a four set loss to William Woods University last Tuesday.
Peru State golfer Marisa Pribnow was named the HAAC women's golfer of the week.
The award came after she broke the school record by shooting a 76 on the second day of the Nebraska Wesleyan Tournament last week. Her two-day total of 164 was good enough for a 7th place tie.
The Bobcat women's golf team finished third at the Nebraska Wesleyan Invite and second at the Peru State Invite last week.
