Peru State outside hitter Bre Brandt was named the Heart of America Athletic Conference (HAAC) Hitter of the Week on Monday, Oct. 7. Brandt joins Baker University teammates, Hannah Bettge and Renata Dill, who were named as the Setter/Player of the Week and Libero of the Week respectively.

Brandt, a junior from Papillion, led the Bobcats to two wins on the road over the weekend as Peru State swept Stephens College in non-conference play and Central Methodist University in HAAC action. The Bobcats revenged an earlier defeat at home against Central Methodist in which they lost in five sets.
