After a 25-15 opening set victory, the Peru State Bobcat volleyball team dropped the next three sets to the visiting Baker University Wildcats on Tuesday night. The Wildcats, now 3-0 in Heart of America Athletic Conference (HAAC) action, won 25-17, 25-20, 25-11, and now are 14-6 on the year.
The Bobcats fell to 11-9 overall after losing their third straight match. This was Peru State's first conference play and they fell to 0-1 in the HAAC.
Peru State will be on the road this Friday to take on the Spires of the University of St. Mary in Leavenworth, Kan., on Friday, Sept. 28, at 7 p.m. Presently, the Spires are 8-10 overall.
