Nine different teams met at the McLouth Invitational to kick off the first weekend of volleyball across Kansas. For area teams, it was a great start to the season.

Perry-Lecompton was flawless, not losing a game and took first place after a solid performance. New Big Seven League member ACCHS only fell to Perry-Lecompton and finished the day taking second place. Maur Hill Mount Academy started off slow, starting off 0-2, but then bounced back with a big victory over Riverside. The momentum carried the Lady Ravens to a third place finish. The host, McLouth, finished in the top half of the teams.
