(KTNC) - Nebraska Senior American Legion Baseball Area Tournaments begin Friday.
Falls City will host the B1 Area Tournament, with six teams in the double elimination tournament.
Norris is the top seed, and will open the tournament at 2:30 Friday afternoon against #6 seed Beatrice.  That will be followed by games matching #2 seed Auburn against #5 Nebraska City at 5:00 and #3 seed Falls City against #4 seed Fairbury at 7:30.
The tournament championship game is scheduled for next Tuesday.
 Wilber Post 101 hosts the Class C Area 4 tournament, beginning Friday at Wilber Legion Park.
 Eight teams are part of the tournament, which begins at 10:00 a.m. Friday with #5 seed Adams Post 221 taking on #4 EMN National Post 157.
 Other first-round games Friday have Wilmar Electric against Louisville Post 353 at 1:00 p.m., Tecumseh Post 2 against Valparaiso Post 371 at 4:00 p.m., and top-seed Malcolm Post 354 against #8 seed Wilber at 7:00 p.m.
