The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) released the first and second round pairings for the 2013 NAIA Women's Golf National Championships on Friday. The 19th annual event will take place at Wilderness Ridge Golf Club in Lincoln, Neb., May 21– 24.

Seventeen automatic qualifying teams punched their ticket with a team title in one of the NAIA's conference/independent/unaffiliated group tournaments, while nine at-large selections, plus one host berth– determined using the final NAIA Women's Golf Coaches' Top 25 Poll – and nine individual qualifiers make up the 144-player field at this year's National Championships.

Peru State's Jordan Schaardt (Humboldt) is one of the nine individual qualifiers making up the 144-player field.  Schaardt, a senior, recently won the Heart of America Athletic Conference (HAAC) Championship in a dramatic, three-hole playoff.

Schaardt will tee off at 9:10 a.m. from the tenth hole on May 21.  She will be playing with Katie Legge of Cumberland (Tenn.) University and Jackie Mee of Carroll (Mont.) College.

On Tuesday, Schaardt will have an afternoon tee time, starting at 2:40 p.m. off the first hole.

Following the first 36 holes, new pairings will be established by the tournament director in consultation with the Tournament Committee.  The field will be cut after 54 holes and reduced to the top 17 teams and 40 individuals (including ties).

This is the first time a female Bobcat golfer has made the national championships.
