Matt Brock

Holton Alum Matt Brock has been named the defensive coordinator at UConn. 

Brock had spent the previous four seasons at Mississippi State including the defensive coordinator in 2023. 

The Bulldogs in 2023 were sixth in the SEC in total defense, fifth in the SEC in pass defense, fifth in rush defense, and second in turnovers gained. 

Prior to his time at Mississippi State, Brock was the special teams coordinator and outside linebackers coach at Washington State. 

Brock was a linebacker during his collegiate playing days at Baker University where he tallied over 270 career tackles while leading the conference in total tackles and tackles per game in 2010. 

He was an All-Conference selection in both 2009 and 2010 and graduated from Baker in 2011.
