The Peru State Bobcat softball team broke their losing streak by picking up a couple of wins in the Sterling (Kan.) College Invitational, held at the Fun Valley Sports Complex in Hutchinson, Kan.
The Bobcats topped Sterling 10-3 on Friday before falling 10-2 to Tabor (Kan.) College. Peru State started with a 6-5 win on Saturday over McPherson (Kan.) College, before dropping their final two games to Friends (Kan.) University 9-0 and Kansas Wesleyan University 8-4.
Following the tournament, Peru State's record is now 2-14.
