On Tuesday, April 8, the Washington County boys golf team hosted their home invitational at Cedar Hills Golf Course. 

The Tigers would go on to win the tournament finishing with a score of 347. Onaga finished the tournament in second place with a score of 373 while Valley Heights finished in third place with a team score of 393. 

Jayden DeWalt of Valley Heights won the tournament with a round of 80. Washington County posted second and third place finishes from Monte Huckett with an 83 and Noah Hoover with an 84. 

Gage Wimberly of Centralia and Dustin Denton of Valley Heights finished in a tie for fifth place with a round of 89. 

Rounding out the team scores was Republic County with a 402, Centralia with a 410, Hanover with a 436, Linn with a 466, and Frankfort with a 477.
