K-Preps have released their updated rankings ahead of week three matchups in high school football.

For another week, Axtell and Frankfort are atop the 8M-II ranks. The Eagles won their 41st straight game in a 70-0 week two win against Washington County. They scored 48 points in the first quarter and never looked back in that game.

The Wildcats had one of the more impressive week two wins as they defeated Lyndon 72-22. Lyndon is the defending 8M-I champs and had won 14 straight games before the loss to Frankfort.

Jackson Heights moves up one spot to #4 in the 1A ranks after beating Maur Hill-Mount Academy 55-0 to move to 2-0. The Cobras rushing attack in that game ran for nearly 200 yards and five touchdowns.

A trio of Big East league teams highlight the 2A rankings with St. Marys at #3, Nemaha Central at #4, and Silver Lake at #5.

The Bears beat Rossville 24-19 with Brady Hurla responsible for three short touchdown runs. The Thunder bounced back in a big way and defeated Silver Lake in their week two game 35-7. Carter Hajek led the Thunder with 147 passing yards and 183 rushing yards with five total touchdowns.
