The Kansas Volleyball Association have released their week one rankings with the season off and running for 2024.
Nemaha Central, off to a 7-1 start, are ranked #2 in Class 3A behind only Beloit. Beloit eliminated the Thunder in the postseason last year.
Big East league members Silver Lake and Rossville are ranked seventh and eighth respectively in Class 3A.
The Valley Heights Mustangs are ranked #5 in Class 2A and are fresh off three wins at the Blue Valley Quad this week. Jefferson County North has also peaked into the ranks this week at #10.
The Centralia Panthers are ranked #2 in Class 1A-I behind only Little River while Clifton-Clyde will begin the season ranked #7.
The other Twin Valley League team in the rankings is Hanover as they are #1 in 1A-II.
