The Hiawatha girls cross country team won the Sabetha Invitational on Thursday afternoon at Sabetha Country Club.
Redhawks junior Pauly Rockey won the event with a time of 21:36.29 while Ali Krauter finished in third place with a time of 22:16.89.
Centralia finished in second place behind Hiawatha as they had three in the top 15 with Kya Franklin in eighth, Kaylee Olberding in 10th, and Keelyn Rempe in 13th.
Nemaha Central finished in fourth place and were led by Cora Langill who finished in fifth place with a time of 22:26.96.
Other notables in the top 10 included Horton's Raelynn Blanton who finished in second place, Atchison's Adriana Delagdo in fourth place, and Troy's Ella Grable in sixth place.
On the boys side it was Baldwin who won the event with Axtell finishing in second place followed by Nemaha Central, Centralia, and Marysville.
Axtell had Henry Stallbaumer finish in sixth place while Bill Lybarger finished in 11th place.
Nemaha Central's Harry Langill finished in second place with a time of 17:38.79 while Braxten Cain finished in 14th place and Colten Corby in 15th place.
Other notables in the top 10 included Centralia's Kristopher Fulkerson and Gavin Fulkerson in third and fourth place respectively, Jackson Cole of Doniphan West in fifth place, and Riverside's Eric Ashworth in ninth place.
