St. Marys hosted their boys wrestling invitational with plenty of area teams taking part in the event. 

Teams competing were Onaga, Doniphan West, St. Marys, Silver Lake, Perry-Lecompton, Jefferson West, Maur Hill-Mount Academy, Rossville, Atchison, Pleasant Ridge, and Royal Valley. 

Manhattan won the event while Blue Valley Southwest and Hayden followed in second and third place respectively. 

Onaga finished in sixth place, Doniphan West in seventh place, St. Marys in eighth place, Silver Lake in ninth place, and Perry-Lecompton in 10th place. 

Jesse Miller of Onaga won the tournament at 106 pounds defeating Marshall Waters of Pleasant Ridge by fall in the second round in the title match. Ryder Foster of Rossville finished in fifth place. 

Brodyn Price of Rossville finished in second place at 113 pounds losing to Chase Courtois of West Frankin in the title match by fall in the first round. Robert Finnegan of Atchison finished in fourth place. 

Jaxson Vice of Maur Hill Mount Academy won the tournament at 120 pounds defeating Caul Johns of West Frankin by fall in the first round in the title match. Lakin Gentry of Rossville finished in fourth place. 

Preston Stafford of Silver Lake finished in fifth place at 126 pounds while Hank Pohl of Pleasant Ridge finished in sixth place. 

Karson Kahler of Jefferson West won the 132 pound weight class defeating Sam Bruntz of Silver Lake by fall in the first round in the title match. Torin Culbertson of Rossville finished in sixth place. 

Cole Genail of Atchison defeated Colton Collins of Osage City by fall in the third round to win the 138 pound weight class. Ethan Tolbert of Perry-Lecompton finished in third place, Justin Failer of St Marys finished in fourth place, and Xavier Berges of Onaga finished in fifth place. 

Zach Rodenbaugh of Silver Lake finished in fourth place at 144 pounds while Noah Weaver of Atchison finished in fifth place, and Xavier Boeckman of Doniphan West finished in sixth place. 

Holden Bowe of Doniphan West finished in fourth place at 150 pounds while Jack Moore of Maur Hill-Mount Academy finished in sixth place. 

Dylan Slifer of Onaga finished in second place at 157 pounds losing to Caleb Menke of Hayden by tech-fall in the title match. Malakie Laws of Silver Lake finished in fourth place, Bennett Minnick of Perry-Lecompton finished in fifth place, and Isaac McEvoy of Pleasant Ridge finished in sixth place. 

Chance Gray of Perry-Lecompton finished in second place at 165 pounds losing to Luke Franze of Blue Valley Southwest by fall in the title match. Calvin Riley of Royal Valley finished in third place and Michael Garrett of Maur Hill-Mount Academy finished in fifth place. 

Brenner Lowe of Doniphan West finished in second place at 175 pounds losing to Jude Krentz of Hayden by fall in the title match. Avery Hunter of Royal Valley finished in fourth place and Trent Hardin of Onaga finished in fifth place. 

Brayden Hager of St. Marys finished in third place at 190 defeating Noah Martinez of Osage City by fall in the third round to claim that third place finish. 

Dalton Schleif of St. Marys finished in second place at 215 pounds losing to Bennett Bahr of Blue Valley Southwest by a 4-3 decision in the title match. Gabrial Johnson of Doniphan West finished in fifth place. 

Osiris Unruh of Jefferson West won the 285 pound weight class defeating Tucker Horton of Manhattan by fall in the first round in the title match. Jacob Fields of St. Marys finished in fifth place and Victor Avalos of Doniphan West finished in sixth place.
