The 2024 8-Man All-League teams were just released, and some incredible athletes were rewarded and recognized for their high level of play. This year, the 8-Man Twin Valley League was a tough one, with the Axtell Eagles winning another state title and completing the four-peat. The Eagles went 5-0 in league play to win the TVL, but coming right behind them was Hanover, who finished second in the league at 5-1. Unfortunately for Hanover, their run in the playoffs was stopped in Regionals to Burlingame 36-24. Despite a 2-2 finish and placing third in the league, Frankfort managed to get past Burlingame 46-38 in the sectionals round but were once again defeated at sub-state by Axtell, 52-20. Clifton Clyde also went 2-2 in the league and had an incredible playoff push in 8-Man Dl, but the Eagles were stopped short of heading to state in a heartbreaking 28-25 loss to Central Plains in the sub-state championship game. Central Plains went on to lose 46-0 to Hoxie in the state title game.
