Hiawatha Cross Country Invite 9/13/18 – results.

The high school cross country season continued last night for the first time in over a week and the Hiawatha girls and boys teams each took their home invite.

On the girls side the Redhawks finished with four of the top 10 times, as Elizabeth Kettler won the varsity race while Mary Rosa also took fourth. Jasemine Morey finished in eighth for Hiawatha, while Kate Madsen took ninth.

Sabetha had three girls inside the top 10 which was good enough for second place finish as a team, led by Hattie Lukert who took third. Skylar McAfee finished not far behind in fifth place, while Jadyn Dorn took tenth.

The Atchison Lady Red were led by Adalynn Collins who finished second, while ACCHS had Victoria Caplinger take seventh.

Just like the girls side the Hiawatha boys finished with four runners inside of the top 10, as Justin Hodge won the meet while Liam Jones took fourth. Andrew Lierz also finished eighth for the Redhawks, while Parker Winters took ninth.

Sabetha finished second as a team once again on the boys side, led by Henry Glynn who finished in fifth. Kaden Dillon also took seventh for the Bluejays, while Braden Menold was just outside of the top 10 finishing in 11th.
