Jeff West Tiger boy's golf team hit the course on Tuesday competing at the Southern Lyon County Tournament in Emporia at the Emporia Municipal course and earned fourth place as a team and had a second place individual finish. 

Thirteen schools field teams on Tuesday on the links and the Tiger boys carded the fourth best four-man team score finishing with a 362. 

Leading the charge for the Tigers on the links was the performance of Preston Stanley who with a 79 on a par 72 course earned second place out of 80 total golfers in the competition. Cooper Mickens earned a Top 10 finish placing ninth on the day after carding an 83. 

Isaac Dickey placed 27th (96), while Charlie Roy finished 42nd (104) and finished out the Tigers four-man team score on the day. Also in action for Jeff West was Zach Murdock who finished 44th (105) and Ben Fast who placed 71st (126). 

After a strong start to the season Jeff West continues the golf season on Thursday, April 13th when they hit the links in the Osage City Invitational.
