2015 Bonner Springs Cross Country Invitational Results - click here

A pair of area cross country teams in Pleasant Ridge and Perry Lecompton hit the course on Saturday at the Bonner Springs Invitational and took on some of the high classification schools in the State in the competition. 

The best performance from the two area schools came from Pleasant Ridge Ram, Luke Oatney who behind a personal best time earned 29th place in the boy’s race out of 166 runners. Gabe Younger and Noah Tattershall also competed for Pleasant Ridge finishing 65th and 119th, respectively. 

For the Kaws of Perry Lecompton, Lexia Jamison was the only runner in the girl’s competition and she placed 51st out of 121 runners. Bjorn Funk raced in the boys competition for the Kaws finishing 78^th on the day.

The cross country season continues for Pleasant Ridge on Tuesday, September 22nd at the Tonganoxie Invitational and for Perry Lecompton at Rim Rock in Lawrence on Saturday, September 26th.
