The Class C Nebraska Girls’ State Golf Tournament concluded Tuesday at Quail Run Golf Course in Columbus.
Three area golfers competed.
Auburn junior Hannah Brown finished in a tie for 11th place with a two-day score of 190. She followed Monday’s score of 91 with a 99 on Tuesday.
HTRS senior Reba Burgett finished with a 215 total. She improved on her first day score of 111 with a 104 on Tuesday.
Johnson County Central junior Michaela Pooch shot a 242 total, with a 123 on Tuesday following Monday’s 119.
McKenna Kime of Grand Island Central Catholic won the Class C individual title with a score of 22-over-par 166. Kime won the title in a play-off with Maaika Mestl of Ogallala.
Grand Island Central Catholic was the Class C team champion with a 746 total. Ogallala was second with a 751 total.
