Eli Dean

Perry-Lecompton’s Eli Dean broke a 45-year school record this past week in their game against Sabetha.

Eli became the school’s all-time leader for career assists passing the mark of 220 which was set back in 1980.

Eli has been the starting point guard for the last three seasons with the Kaws, including the 19-win team that made the state tournament in 2023.

For the season, Eli is averaging 7 points, 4.5 rebounds, 3.7 assists, and 2 steals per game. Eli was first team all-league in the Big 7 last season as a junior.

Head coach Matt Simmons calls Eli the definition of a great teammate.
