Centralia’s Jacob Flentie posted another monster game this past week as the Panthers defeated Rossville to clinch a spot in the 1A State Championship game.

In their 22-9 sub-state win over Rossville this past week, Jacob rushed for 142 yards and two touchdowns. He had a crucial 46-yard run late in the game that set up a touchdown run which put Centralia up two scores late in the game.

For the season, Flentie has rushed for over 1,500 yards and 19 touchdowns while averaging over seven yards per carry. He’s also completing 60% of his passes for 763 yards and 10 more scores.

Centralia in their sixth State Championship game since 2009 and first since 2019. They will play the defending champs in Conway Springs in Hutch on Saturday at 5 PM.
