Dalton Nioce

The Horton Chargers matched their 2023 win total with a week one win at Valley Falls on Friday night 38-8.

Senior running back Dalton Nioce led the Chargers rushing attack finishing the game with 22 carries for 218 yards and two touchdowns.

Nioce had the bulk of the yards on a 95-yard drive that he capped off with a one-yard touchdown run, and then he put the game away in the fourth quarter with a 40-yard touchdown run.

It’s the first time since 2017 that Horton has opened the season with a win and it’s also the first win over Valley Falls since 2014.
