Frankfort Girls Basketball Team

The Frankfort girls basketball team won the Class 1A-I State Tournament this season for their first title in school history.

The State Tournament run in Colby included wins over St. John-Hudson, South Gray, and Little River in the Championship game 47-41. Sydney Wapp led all scorers with 15, Hattie Gros finished with 14 points, and Breleigh Ebert hit a key three-pointer late to help secure the title.

Frankfort finished the season with a record of 22-3, won a Sub-State title, made their fourth semifinal appearance in school history, made their first state title game appearance since 1981, along with the first state title in school history.  

Frankfort had six seniors on the roster with Sydney Wapp, Hattie Gros, Emma Hardwick, Katelynn Combs, Tana Stowell, and Alexis Dalinghaus.
