Bauerle Clutch Performance Guides ACCHS to Victory
McKenzie Bauerle

McKenzie Bauerle went off this past Friday for ACCHS in their 44-43 win over Oskaloosa. The junior forward racked up 25 points and had six rebounds with four steals. McKenzie also buried the game-winning free throws in the final seconds to secure the victory for the Tigers.

This season, she is averaging 19.5 points, four rebounds and three steals per game. McKenzie has helped the team to a 3-2 record in games she has played in after playing minimal minutes in the first game and missing the next two games.

First year head coach Andrew Eckert has nothing but great things to say about the dedication from McKenzie so far this season.

“McKenzie is a great kid,” Eckert said. “She works hard in the classroom and on the court. McKenzie does her best to lead by example and has some great teammates that make what she does possible. She has done a great job of integrating back in with her teammates after missing a couple of games to start the year and the team did a great job of stepping up while she was gone. I look forward to seeing what our team can do the rest of the year together.”
