Trey Carter

The Atchison Phoenix continued their undefeated season advancing in the 4A playoffs last week with a 50-27 win over Eudora.

Quarterback Trey Carter has played at an all-state level this season and it continued against the Cardinals. Trey completed nine of 18 passes for 266 yards and two touchdowns and added 11 carries for 132 yards and one score on the ground.

For the season, Trey has thrown for 1,876 yards and 24 touchdowns while adding 542 rushing yards and eight more scores.

The 10-0 phoenix will host Tonganoxie in a top-five showdown this week in the Sectional round of the playoffs. A matchup you can hear live on KAIR 93.7 FM.
