Audrey Tramp

The Sabetha girls tennis team is sending three off to the 3-1A State Tournament this weekend in Topeka and Audrey Tramp will be representing the Bluejays in singles.

Audrey finished in fifth place at the Regional Tournament this past weekend at Marysville and enters the State Tournament with a record of 20-9.

The match at Regional’s that sent her to the State Tournament played into a third set and lasted over two hours. Audrey played doubles last season and made the jump to singles this season and has found herself now competing at the State Tournament.

“She is a smart player that is very competitive,” said Bluejays head coach Alicia Deters. “Her win to head to state showed her strength physically and mentally. Adds that Audrey is a tremendous leader.

The State Tournament is Friday-Saturday (10/13-10/14) at Kossover Tennis Center in Topeka.
