The Frankfort girls basketball team is playing their best basketball of the season at the right time with 1A Sub-State Tournaments beginning this week.

The Wildcats have won nine games in a row and Sydney Wapp is playing like an All-League selection.

In her last three games, Sydney scored 52 points (17.3 PPG) and grabbed 18 rebounds (6 RPG) while shooting over 70% from the floor and 74% at the free throw line.

For the season, Sydney is averaging 10 points and seven rebounds per game.

Frankfort is currently 17-3 overall heading into their Sub-State Quarterfinal matchup on Thursday night against Blue Valley.

They’re also ranked #6 in Class 1A-I from the Kansas Basketball Coaches Association.
