Cooper Hajek

Cooper Hajek is well on pace for All-State honors at running back as he helped lead Nemaha Central to their first State Championship since 2019 this past Saturday.

The Thunder dominated from the jump and claimed the 2A title in Salina with a 33-17 win over Kingman. Hajek bulldozed his way to 210 yards on 38 carries with four touchdowns.

Nemaha Central led the game at one point 33-3 before Kingman was able to get a couple of late touchdowns.

Hajek’s two touchdowns in the first half were from inside the five-yard line. His two touchdowns in the second half were big time runs of 26 and 29 yards.

Cooper finishes his senior season with over 2,000 rushing yards and 42 touchdowns.
