The Nemaha Central football team is off to the 2A State Championship game this weekend in Salina as they’ll face Kingman.
Junior lineman Holden Bass has been a staple on both sides of the ball this season helping the Thunder get back to the State Title game.
This past Friday in the Semi-Final win over Sabetha, Holden was crucial in the running game on the offensive line, and he added five tackles including a tackle for loss on defense.
This season, Holden is fourth on the Thunder with 62 total tackles. He’s added eight tackles for loss, and he’s tied for the team lead with five sacks.
Holden attended multiple big-time camps this past summer as he’s got the ability to play at the next level.
It’s a battle of unbeatens for the 2A State Championship on Saturday in Salina as Nemaha Central plays Kingman. That game will be broadcast on KMZA 92.1 FM with coverage beginning at 12:30 PM and the kickoff at 1:00 PM.
