Elle Williams

From our first “Athlete of the Week” to start the 21-22 sports seasons back in the fall, to the last at the end of the seasons.

Elle Williams of Doniphan West closed her dominant career with two more gold medals at State Track this past weekend.

Elle won the 1A gold medals in both the 800 and 1600 meter runs. She goes back-to-back in the 800 and improves from ninth place to first place this year in the 1600.

Elle also added in the 3200-meter run to help with conditioning for the 800 and 1600 and was able to take home the bronze medal this year in that event.

Back in the fall, Elle finished runner-up at the State Cross Country Meet and helped the Mustangs to a second-place finish after they had won back-to-back State Titles her freshman and sophomore seasons.

Elle is unsure on her collegiate plans but has offers to run at the next level.
