Emily Krebs

It was quite the weekend for Emily Krebs of the Sabetha volleyball team. Sabetha hosted their volleyball invitational tournament on Saturday and Sabetha would take third place defeating Marysville 25-18 and 25-22.

During the tournament, Krebs surpassed the 2,000-assist total for her career.

Krebs has put together quite the resume throughout her career as she was Big-7 All-League in 2019 and 2020 as well as First-Team All-State in 2020.

Right now, her serving percentage is 99.22% which is nearly beating the 40-year state record of 99.4% by Betsy Lienhard of Lawrence.

She is a team captain and considered an all-around team leader. Sabetha will host a 3A Sub-State bracket this weekend.
