It was just the first double header of the season, but Troy Trojan junior catcher, Holly Stegall looked in regular form packing an offensive punch for the Trojans in a pair of offensively charged wins over Maur Hill-Mount Academy.
Stegall and her teammates took down Maur Hill in impressive fashion to the tune of 19-0 and 16-0 wins in the double header, while out hitting the Ravens 25-5 on the day.
Holly lead the way finishing 6-7 combined on the day (.833 batting avg.), while tallying four runs scored, five RBI, a walk, double and four stolen bases.
In the 16-0 win, she registered a 2-3 day with a run scored, three RBI and a double, while her best performance of came in the 19-0 win. Holly finished the 19-0 win perfect from the plate 3-3 with three runs scored, two RBI, a walk and four stolen bases.
Holly helped the Trojans last season to a 14-8 record, while posting a .462 batting average; she looks to provide the pop with the bat this season for the lady Trojans and help them to a successful season, as they are off to a 2-0 start.
