Sadie Walker

This week's blast from the past is Sadie Walker. 

Sadie graduated from Holton and is already contributing her freshman season with the Washburn University softball team.

The Ichabods are 23-5 and Sadie has appeared in 11 games pitching 31 plus innings. She has a 3-3 record with a 4.69 ERA along with 37 strikeouts.

She posted a season high of seven strikeouts against Notre Dame College earlier this month.

Sadie was a three-sport athlete at Holton with volleyball, wrestling and softball. Her senior season, she earned First Team All-League and Second Team All-State honors as a pitcher.

Her junior season, Sadie had a .660 batting average with 53 RBI while pitching 62 innings and allowing only 12 runs with 104 strikeouts.
