Creighton's ability to shoot 3-pointers will be a major test for Tennessee's defense when the women's basketball programs face off for the first time Monday.

The Bluejays (25-7) rank second nationally with 9.3 made shots from 3-point range per game.  Just over 45 percent of 10th-seeded Creighton's shots this season have been from beyond the arc. Creighton shot 11 of 36 from 3-point range Saturday to beat Syracuse 61-56 in the first round of the Oklahoma City Regional.

Tennessee's only previous opponent that relied heavily on 3-pointers was Missouri, the lone non-NCAA tournament team to beat the second-seeded Lady Vols this season. The Lady Vols (25-7) trounced Missouri 84-39 on January 10th at Thompson-Boling Arena, but Missouri surprised Tennessee 80-63 by shooting 11 of 24 from 3-point range February 3rd at Columbia.
