The Girls 4A East Regional Wrestling Tournament wrapped up on Saturday at Tonganoxie High School with six local teams taking part in the event.
Wellsville won the team title with 184.5 points while Frontenac finished runner-up with 157 points. Paola (135.5), Wamego (122.5), and Tonganoxie (120.5) rounded out the top five in the team standings.
Nemaha Central finished in 10th place with 97 points, Holton finished in 11th place with 91 points, Jefferson West finished in 13th place with 82.5 points, Perry-Lecompton finished in 21st place with 39 points, Atchison finished in 23rd place with 32.5 points, and Hiawatha finished in 31st place with eight points.
