The Holton girls wrestling team captured the Big East League title Friday afternoon at Royal Valley, dominating the field with a first-place finish of 135.5 points and three individual champions.

Nemaha Central placed second with 122.5 points, also crowning three league champions, while Silver Lake finished third with 114.5 points and three individual title winners. Rossville narrowly followed in fourth with 114 points, and Sabetha rounded out the top five with 96.5 points.

Jefferson West (80), Perry-Lecompton (79), Riley County (61.5), Royal Valley (47), Hiawatha (33), and St. Marys (28.5) completed the team standings.

Riley County produced two individual champions, while Rossville, Jefferson West, and Perry-Lecompton each had one wrestler earn a league title.
