The Doniphan West girls wrestling team won the George Worley Invitational in Atchison on Saturday finishing the tournament with 73 points.

Pleasant Ridge kept it close, but the Rams would take second place finishing with 70 points. Maur Hill-Mount Academy finished with 60 points for third place; Atchison County finished with 59.5 points for fourth place and Polo finished with 55 points for fifth place.

D-West had two first place finishes with Bri Guilliams at 120 and Layla Kunhert at 190.

Other notable top finishes from the tournament included Natasha Noor of Atchison County at 100, Andi Wegman of Onaga at 105, Lauren Smith of Atchison County at 115, Emma Vice of Maur Hill at 125, Ariana Moses-Prospere of Rossville at 130, Kiara Woessner of Atchison at 155, and Karmen Smith of Atchison at 170.
