Hiawatha Girls and Nemaha Central Boys Win Marysville Cross Country Meet

The Hiawatha girls and Nemaha Central boys captured the Marysville Cross Country Meet titles over the weekend at Marysville Golf Course. 

The Redhawk girls were led by the individual champion in Pauly Rockey who finished with a time of 21:02.12. Bri Guilliams finished in eighth place while Ali Krauter added a 10th place finish. 

Cora Langill of Nemaha Central finished in second place, Ella Grable of Troy finished in third place, Belle Smith of Doniphan West finished in fourth place, and Raelynn Blanton of Horton finished in fifth place. 

Nemaha Central finished in second place behind Hiawatha in the standings while Centralia finished in third place, Riley County in fourth place, Axtell in fifth place, and Sabetha in sixth place. 

The Nemaha Central boys' top performer was Harry Langill who finished in second place with a time of 17:44.95. Riley County's Jeter Adams was the individual champion with a time of 17:14.36. 

Kristopher Fulkerson of Centralia finished in third place, Gavin Fulkerson of Centralia finished in fourth place, and Jackson Cole of Doniphan West finished in fifth place. 

Marysville finished in second place behind the Thunder boys followed by Axtell, Centralia, Riley County, Sabetha, Hiawatha, Horton, and Doniphan West.
