The Kansas Basketball Coaches Association have released their preseason rankings to jumpstart the 2025-2026 season with games underway this week.
Girls: Silver Lake #2 in 3A, Riley County #9 in 3A, Doniphan West #4 in 2A, Valley Heights #8 in 2A, Centralia #2 in 1A-I, Clifton-Clyde #5 in 1A-I, Troy #7 in 1A-I, Frankfort #8 in 1A-I, Hanover #1 in 1A-II, and Axtell #9 in 1A-II.
Boys: Silver Lake #3 in 3A, Nemaha Central #6 in 3A, Rossville #4 in 2A, St. Marys #7 in 2A, Valley Falls #9 in 2A, Centralia #5 in 1A-I, Frankfort #7 in 1A-I, Axtell #1 in 1A-II, and Hanover #2 in 1A-II.
