The Valley Falls baseball team secured the 2025 Northeast Kansas League Title last week in their sweep over Horton.
They dominated the league this season going a perfect 18-0 and outscoring their opponents 213-23. The Dragons overall record is 19-4 with all four losses coming against 3A schools.
Senior Hayden Kearney is set to go down as one of the all-time greats in Kansas as he has piled up the records this season.
After a sweep against Jackson Heights in late April, Hayden became the all-time leader for career hits in the state with 140. The previous record was 139 which was set by Bishop Ward's David Janes from 1996-1999.
He holds multiple Valley Falls career records including games played, hits, on-base percentage, walks, runs scored, and doubles.
Valley Falls will host a Class 2-1A Regional Tournament next week.
