The Hiawatha legion baseball team rallied with two runs in the bottom of the seventh inning to beat Holton in walk-off fashion 11-10 on Wednesday night.

Hiawatha would lead the game 8-2 going into the fifth inning but Holton scored seven runs in that frame to take a 9-8 lead. That half inning was highlighted by an Austin Zeller grand slam.

Hiawatha would follow that by tying the game in the bottom of the sixth as Cooper Jacobson was able to score on a passed ball.

Holton would regain the lead at 10-9 in the top of the seventh inning as they would get an RBI single from Josh Smith but it wouldn't be enough. Hiawatha's Ashton Rockey tied the game with an RBI single and would get to second on a stolen base. Jacobson would drive in Rockey with the game winning RBI single.

Rockey pitched three innings for Hiawatha and struck out seven while Zeller pitched five innings in relief for Holton and allowed four runs.

Jacobson led Hiawatha reaching base three times including a double and a single. He would add three RBI's and two runs scored which earned him the McDonald's of Hiawatha and Seneca player of the game.

For the game, Hiawatha finished with 11 runs, 12 hits, four errors, and 13 left on base. Holton finished the game with 10 runs, 10 hits, four errors, and 12 left on base.
